The Beach Scene Painting #1

The other night I had trouble figuring out what to paint and ended up trying to recreate the first beach scene I had painted with Painting With a Twist.

This weekend the weather is calling for some storms and rain all weekend… so as I was reading a book I had bought on Amazon around learning how to paint, it really made me want to paint… especially with how nice it was out.  It was around 4 p.m. when I finally decided to finish this painting, and it was just in time – the 2nd storm of the day was about to move in… and as the items that were on the table about blew away, the decision was made to move almost everything inside.  Everything except for the painting that was going to get finished no matter what. 🙂

It is very easy to get carried away with a painting and wanting to add more of this or more of that, or thinking something else could be improved that much more.  As with anything, you need to know when to stop and say ‘I’m done’.
